For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13 (NKJV) When God made you, He formed your inward parts, and this inward creation doesn’t just include physical structures such as bones, ligaments and organs. God also hand-crafted you with natural tendencies, gifts and desires. You may be aware of some of the gifts and desires He’s given you, but there are a lot more you haven’t yet discovered. Some are time-released at certain phases in your life. For example, not many boys who are eight or nine years old have a desire to get married, but if you give them a few years, things change! The fact is that you will be discovering new dreams, gifts and desires throughout …
Si …
IT’S TIME TO DREAM AGAIN!
In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people…your old men will dream dreams. Acts 2:17 (NIV) If you’ve gone through some difficult times in life and you have given up on your dream, Holy Spirit wants to help you dream again. He wants to lead you to fulfil your God-given dreams! In Acts 2, just following the moment when Holy Spirit made His entrance into believer’s hearts for the first time, Peter stood up in front of a crowd to preach. He quoted an Old Testament prophesy from Joel, and it’s interesting that it specifically mentioned the older generation when it comes to dreaming dreams. Sometimes in life, the more heartache and hurt we’ve been through, the more …
Staying motivated. It’s easier than you think.
Have you set any goals for 2016? If you did, you may have noticed that your motivation to achieve these goals has already started to dwindle. It’s maddening, isn’t it? They’re great goals and you really want to reach them! The good news is there are a few things you can do to increase your chances of achieving those goals. For one, make sure your goals are concrete enough. Saying, “I want my business to grow,” is too vague. You need to break that goal into specifics that will help you take action. Second, make sure your goals are realistic. There’s nothing more deflating than realizing that you’ve bitten off more than you can chew. That being said, even if you already announced a grand …
