His faithfulness to God has made it possible for us to have the courage we need and the ability to approach the Father confidently.
Ephesians 3:12 (VOICE)
Have you become caught up with doing things for God to try to get right with Him?
Stop! Jesus already earned that right standing for you! As a believer, the only thing between you and God is love. You can build a close, intimate relationship with your Father God who already loves you!
Have a hard time believing that God loves you? Meditate on these verses, and especially the parts I’ve highlighted: 1 Thessalonians 1:4 (VOICE): O brothers and sisters loved by God, we know He has chosen you.
John 15:9 (AMP): I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you].
Colossians 3:12 (VOICE): Since you are all set apart by God, made holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with a holy way of life: compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
Ephesians 2:4-5 (NKJV): But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
God loves you, and His type of love isn’t a far off, estranged type of love.
He wants to be close to you. He wants you to talk to Him when you’re excited about something and when you’re frustrated or sad. He wants you to ask for help when you need it and to celebrate with Him when things are going well.
You never need to doubt if God wants to talk to you. He does!
