Have you ever gone through a crisis that lasted a really long time? It’s one thing to go through a few days where your stomach is in a knot, but facing something that goes on for months can affect your relationships, your job and your health, both mentally and physically, if you don’t do it with God.
So if we are going to be truly Spirit Contemporary, overcoming the storms that push against us in an imperfect world, we need to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. At the same time, we also need to be wise in the ways of this world.
You can go a long way with just growing in favour with man. You can also go a long way with the favour of God. But just imagine how far you can go with both! When you bring the presence and the power of God together with the wisdom and the favour of man, you can rise up to do incredible things with God!
In this series of devotionals, I hope I’ve encouraged you to spend time with God, growing in his Word. But I hope I’ve also encouraged you to learn the practical principles of business and relationships you need to get to the next level. There are leadership and relationship skills we all need to learn because God is not going to do everything for us.
