Try Jesus first

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5 (NIV)

Have you ever gone through a difficult time in your life where you kept wondering, What’s wrong with my life?
It usually comes down to a simple decision. Have you tried Jesus?
You may already be a Christian, but sometimes we Christians get so caught up in our problems that we forget we hold the solution. Now, I’m not minimizing what you’re going through in any way. And I’m not saying that Jesus is going to “poof” all your problems away. But what would happen if you started to pray and read the Word more? What would happen if you got more involved in helping others find Jesus?
It never hurts to forget about yourself a little more and focus instead on God and His purposes for your life!
We all go through times in life when we want to quit. If you’re getting discouraged, make sure you find people who are passionate about God and excited about living life with Him. Let their passion rub off on you. Keep dealing with the issues you face, too, but don’t forget that you’re not alone. Others are on this journey with you, and you have the opportunity to build a phenomenal relationship with your loving Father God.
Get back to the basics. Keep the fire burning. Don’t let anything come between you and your passion for Jesus Christ, His will and His direction. And when it comes to people who don’t yet know Christ, get just as excited and enthusiastic about showing them Jesus’ love as He is.
