The Work you Do is Sacred

Leon FontaineDevoted

For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above— spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].
Ephesians 2:10 (AMP)

You are blessed. You are called. You have a purpose in life and you need to see it!

Whether you own a business, are a stay-at-home parent, work in education or politics—no matter what you do, you need to see the work you do as sacred.

Church isn’t the only place where spiritual things take place. In fact, church is meant to be the training ground where you prepare to go out and impact the world for Christ.

No matter what you do for a living, there’s a holy calling on you to reach people for Christ. God can work all things together for your good, even if your past isn’t pretty. Even if you still have issues to work through, remember you have God’s grace to do it and the future is incredibly bright!

God gave you the gifts you have, and He has plans for your life. Sacred opportunities are around you every day. In fact, it’s o en in the secular and the mundane where the purposes of God are revealed in our lives. You are the salt of the earth; you bring light into the darkness.

Holy Spirit will help you connect the dots and see where to go next. What you’re doing now might change. Everything can’t stay the same; you need to continually grow, so be open to the work God has for you to do in your everyday life.
