Do not be afraid, you who are highly regarded by God. May peace rest on you and make you whole; be strong; be brave. Daniel 10:19 (VOICE)
What is stealing your peace and keeping you up at night?
Without peace, your mind and health are compromised. When we’re in constant turmoil, we develop thinking habits and belief systems in our lives that hurt us. We struggle to be at peace, and our bodies can’t heal and be restored the way God designed them to.
You were created to live in a peace that’s supernatural.
I’m not saying that you won’t struggle with anxiety at times, and there are physiological and medical causes of anxiety that sometimes need to be addressed. If you’ve done all you can but still can’t seem to shake it, I’d encourage you to seek the help of someone who is committed to getting to the bottom of the anxiety. There is hope! At the same time, we can all seek God’s Word to learn how to stay confident and full of joy in the midst of a storm.
You’re a new creation with Holy Spirit inside you. He gives you an incredible ability to guard your heart and mind. Philippians 4:6–7 (NLT) says, Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
When people or situations threaten to steal your peace, you don’t have to let them. God’s peace is flowing through you into your relationships. His peace impacts your emotions and mental health. It’s bringing joy, strength and healing into every area of your life!
