Say It to Hear It

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

If God promised it, you can experience it. Period.

God promised you prosperity. You might say, “Yeah, but no one in my family ever has money.” What are you going to claim over your life? God’s promise or your family’s financial history?

You need to start claiming God’s promises. Inspired by Deuteronomy 30:9, you can say, “Father, thank you for your promises to prosper me. I claim this promise today. Thank you for prospering all the work of my hands!”

God promised that you can have a calm spirit and a well-balanced mind. You can have a mind that is strong, not beaten down or condemned, but a mind that rejoices in God and loves people.

You might say, “But I’ve always had a bad temper,” or “I have depression.” If you have negative thinking you can’t seem to control, get some advice from your doctor. But at the same time, why claim more of the same? You have the ability to shape your future by claiming what you are capable of experiencing.

Claim 2 Timothy 1:7. Say out loud, “Father, thank you that you did not give me a spirit of fear. You’ve given me a spirit of power, love, discipline and self-control. You’ve also given me a calm and well-balanced mind!”

It’s time to declare what God’s Word says! You don’t have to do it in public, but make sure you do it, and do it out loud. Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and one of the best ways to hear it every day is to say it.
