Reignited Hope

He decided to make known to them His blessing to the nations; the glorious riches of this mystery is the indwelling of the Anointed in you! The very hope of glory.  Colossians 1:27 (VOICE)

Proverbs 13:12 says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life” (NKJV). If you’ve lost hope that things will ever change, hope has been deferred. In other words, if your heart no longer believes change is possible, that’s a problem because without belief you can’t see the miraculous happen.

Jesus, the great miracle-worker, said, “If you can believe, all things are possible” (Mark 9:23), if you don’t doubt in your heart (Mark 11:23). You need to reignite hope in your heart to see change.

There’s no limit to where you can go in life. Second Corinthians 3:18 says you change from one degree of glory to the next, on and on as far as you can believe. And Jesus said his yoke is easy and his burden is light (Matthew 11:29–30).

How is this restful change possible? Well, it’s because of the mystery of the gospel, which is not Christ in heaven, Christ on the cross, Christ out of the empty tomb or Christ at the right hand of the Father. All of these contain beautiful truths, but the mystery of the gospel is Christ in you, the hope of you fulfilling all the glory that God has for you (Colossians 1:27).

The truth is, wherever you are, you can move to a higher level— in your marriage, family, relationships, finances and spiritually. You don’t ever have to give up hope. You can go on from glory to glory because Christ is in you!
