Question…I’m believing for healing. Why am I not being healed?
Answer…Leon started by talking about what Christians need to do to qualify for healing when they really just need to remember they are qualified. Leon touched on the mis-belief that Jesus chooses who gets healing and who doesn’t. Salvation means saved from the entire curse of the law. The faith movement has made people think it is their faith that qualifies them but it is really their beliefs.
Question…What did you do for Bible study/devotion time as a family?
Answer…Leon talked about raising kids and many of the things that he and Sally focused on.
Question…What is a good Christian view on Islam?
Answer…Leon approached this topic from the perspective of how to talk to the people around you about Jesus. He touched on respect, disagreement, condescension, the treatment of the LGBT community, love, acceptance, value and being a good listener.
Question…What is your thought on owning worldly music and having it in your home?
Answer…Leon talked about the different beliefs on this topic and the guidelines he uses for his own music, movie, book choices and the guidelines that he set for his family when they were younger.
Question…Are you ever under attack from the devil?
Answer…Yes – all the time but he’s not concerned. The church world has created this teaching that the devil is so powerful and able to do so much. Not true. Jesus stripped him of his abilities. Leon explained the two things Satan does.
Question…What experience with God stands out with you the most?
Answer…He said he has seen many, many miracles but what stands out the most is the day when the things of God really clicked for him. Leon explained the difference between grace & mercy.
Question…What is your thought on the different denominations?
Answer…Leon works with a lot of them and thinks they’re beautiful. He explained a little about the history of denotation and how as they grew, they became more organized. This created some problems for some of them.
Answer…Leon talked about the importance of raising families. God never intended that our church leaders would sacrifice their families for their church the way that they have.
Answer…Hearing from God yourself is so important. People are often looking for someone to tell them what to do but it is better for them to hear directly from God.
Question…How would you explain grace without compromising healthy boundaries?
Answer…Leon explained grace and favor. He mentioned that Jesus was meek but not weak and explained why understanding this is important.
Question…Will God help you if you keep praying for the same thing?
Answer…Leon talked about different types of prayer. Leon doesn’t keep asking; he starts thanking God for the answer to his prayer. He gave the example of the thermometer and the thermostat.
