But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) When you pursue something at the expense of everything else in your life, it becomes your god. In fact, whatever you put in that first place makes your decisions for you. For example, if you put your career first, you’ll work instead of choosing family or church. If a shift becomes available but it conflicts with a church or family event, your decision is made.
