When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the price for the sins of all of mankind—past, present and future.
As believers, we are completely and abundantly free in our relationship with God. “He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth” (Ephesians 1:7–10, MSG).
Jesus is, and always has been, the answer. Religion has never worked. Trusting in Jesus makes it possible for us to have a relationship with God, and out of that relationship flows everything we need. It really is all about relationship. Religious, judgmental thinking has no place in a believer’s life.
God loves every person completely—even if they’re struggling with bad habits and wrong behaviour. Remember the acceptance and love He has for each person in your world and help to show them that love. They don’t need to be shamed; they need to know about the unconditional, loving relationship they can have through Jesus.
Only Jesus’ love can give them the power to lasting change. Only He can empower them to grow and get stronger and better with every passing year. God wants every person on this planet to begin a relationship with Him. What can you do this week to show someone how much God loves them?
