But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11 (NKJV)
As we’ve been discussing over the past few days, when you give your life to Christ, Holy Spirit comes to live inside you. You have the nature of God in your spirit man.
That new nature you have is untouchable; it’s not something you can lose by doing wrong or failing to do right. You’re a new creation. Because of this nature change, you have all things that pertain to life and godliness in you (2 Peter 1:3). You just need to know how to release them!
The issue is you need to study God’s Word to change the beliefs you hold in your mind and heart. Romans 12:2 calls this renewing the mind. When the beliefs in your heart line up with what God has promised you, the supernatural happens.
So…if you need a miracle in your body or in any other area of your life, you don’t need to look toward the skies for it. You’ve been given all things, which means your miracle isn’t somewhere up in Heaven.
Meditate on 1 John 4:4, which says, He who is in you (in your spirit) is greater than he who is in the world (NKJV). And today’s verse says that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells inside you.
Think about it. If Holy Spirit in Jesus gave him enough power to rise from the dead, Holy Spirit in you gives you sufficient power to rise above whatever you’re dealing with and more!
