Let Go And Relax

And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 28:2 (NKJV)

If someone is self-righteous, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re arrogant. In fact, many of us act in a self-righteous way without realizing it.

When we try to bring about change all in our own strength, we’re operating in a self-righteous way.

Someone could be the most unassuming person around, but if they’re trying to improve their habits, raise their kids or build their business without accessing the power of Holy Spirit inside them, they’re stuck in Old Testament thinking. They’re trying to be right and do right on their own strength so they’re being works minded, or in other words, self-righteous.

If you’ve been trying to work things out on your own, it’s time you began to experience the rest Jesus spoke of in Matthew 11:29. It’s about discovering who you are in Christ. You need to use wisdom and have self-control, but you also need to rest and believe who God says you are!

As you realize this truth, the power of Holy Spirit in your spirit begins to radiate into your mind, business, health and every generation to follow you. All around you, everywhere you go, you begin to experience the favour of God.

You discover that you’re blessed going out and coming in. Blessed is the work of your hands. Blessed are your kids. As a believer, every blessing in Deuteronomy 28:1–14 applies to you because of what Jesus has done! You’re blessed, blessed, blessed! And as you begin to believe this, you’ll find yourself walking in the blessings of God.
