When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard He will tell you about the future. John 16:13 (NLT)
Sometimes when I am reading about Jesus, it becomes so real to me that I almost feel as though I am there. As I read about Him walking along the shore, I can almost see the sand flipping up from His sandals. It feels real because Holy Spirit was there… and now He lives inside me.
Holy Spirit was there when the first whale broke through the surface of the water to take a breath. He was there when planets and stars began to explode across the universe out of black nothingness. He was with Jesus as He hung on the cross. He saw Mary’s grief as she watched her son breathe his last. And He lives inside you, ready to “guide you into all truth” (John 16:13).
Holy Spirit knows every aspect of your future. He knows every intricate detail—from who you should marry to what investments you should make—and He resides inside of you. Contrary to popular belief, He is not only interested with your spiritual growth and development. Holy Spirit leads us into all truth in every area of our lives.
