God’s Will for You Is Good!

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

Have you ever wondered what God’s will is for your life? When it comes to God’s promises, you don’t have to wonder.

God promises you health, so you don’t have to wonder if it’s His will to heal you. The one time Jesus prayed an “if it is your will” prayer, it was in reference to going to the cross. He was about to be killed, and He was just checking in with God to say, “If this is your will—if this is how it has to be—then I’m in.” But we don’t have to ask what God’s will is when it comes to what the Bible has already promised us!

Others think, “Well, God is sovereign. He can do what He wants, and maybe He doesn’t want me to get well.” That is also inaccurate. God has promised us health, long life and prosperity, and He isn’t about to change His mind on that (Numbers 23:19).

Now, does this mean we as believers will live problem-free? Of course not. We live in a fallen world and things will happen, so we need to stand strong, ready to resist what is not from God, and believe for prosperity and blessing.

As believers, we do not submit to storms. We do not submit to cancer.

We do not submit to poverty. We do not submit to attacks against us.

We do not submit to early death. We submit to the King of kings and the Lord of lords who has filled us with His grace, power, ability, healing and prosperity!
