Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5–6 (NLT)
There are two things you can be sure of in your future.
The first is that God has prepared a unique path for your life, and the second is that your response will determine whether you walk out this journey and fulfill your destiny, or struggle your whole life to reach your potential.
If you’re confused about your path, stop and think about your gifts, desires and passions. Understand that God has placed within you special talents and abilities that complement your path and provide you with the necessary tools to fulfill your destiny.
Every one of us is born with great potential and God-given talent. Sadly, many people choose to take their potential and talent to the graveyard, never fulfilling their destiny. It’s not enough to think that God has a plan for your life and then sit passively on the sidelines. You need to rise up, unearth your talents and make choices that will lead you to fulfilling your destiny.
If you don’t know what you’re supposed to be doing with your life, spend some time with God. Submit your dreams to Him and seek His guidance, direction and wisdom. And if you’re facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles on your path, remember that Jesus has given you the strength to overcome. He wants you to rise up to be all that you have been created to be.
