Have you ever listened to a preacher or read a Christian book and you sensed in your gut that something about the teaching wasn’t right? That’s Holy Spirit leading you into all truth.
Holy Spirit helps you to decipher between the truth and lies. First, He leads us into the truth about who we are in Christ. His main focus is a relationship with us, and to reveal the truth of God’s Word to us. The more we allow Him to lead us into the truth of God’s Word, the more He can keep us from believing lies. Then, because of these powerful truths in our hearts, He is also able to lead us in the affairs of life.
There will be times when you’re about to make a decision that makes sense rationally, but in your gut, something just doesn’t feel right. This leading is one of the benefits Holy Spirit provides for our lives, and it helps us in our relationships, in business and in every area of life.
When you have a decision to make or you’re unsure about what is the truth in a situation, talk to those wiser than you, research, and then wait for a deep sense of peace about it. Sometimes you may still be nervous about it because you don’t have all the details worked out, but there will be times when it’s still right, and you may know it deep down in your spirit.
