Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Matthew 7:7 (NKJV)
Do you ever struggle to sense God’s love for you?
Maybe it’s been a while since you’ve felt a connection, or maybe you can’t really think of a time when you sensed His unconditional love for you.
When we feel disconnected from God, a number of misconceptions can develop. For one, we can start to assume that maybe He doesn’t love us—maybe He’s angry with us for something we’ve done or failed to do.
The truth is, God loves you always. His love is not conditional; it’s not based on your behaviour or your obedience. Doing things you know are wrong may make it harder for you to feel that love because you feel disconnected from God, but He never stops loving you!
If you’re feeling disconnected from God, Luke 11:9-10 shares how to get reconnected: ASK.
The truth is not complicated. If you want to experience more of God in your life, ask. If you want to hear what He’s saying to you as you read the Bible, ask.
In today’s verse, Jesus said that if we ask, it will be given to us. When we ask for things that align with God’s Word, believing that we will get our answer, nothing is impossible!
God loves you completely, fully, abundantly and unconditionally.
His plans for you are unquestionably perfect. His promises are overwhelmingly full and complete in every way, for every area of your life.
Keep reading about God’s love in the Bible and ask Him to help you sense His love for you, and over time, you will!
