Faith in His Name

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.
Philippians 2:10 (NKJV)

Do you ever wake up grumpy?

The first thought in your mind might be, “Ugh, another stinkin’ day.” If that’s what is popping into your mind, no wonder you want to stay in bed!

Don’t accept that thought! Instead, say, “This is the day the Lord has made. I’m going to rejoice and be glad in it!” (See Psalm 118:24.)

If you find yourself thinking, Oh, I feel tired. I think I’ll just lay around all day, don’t accept that thought! You may be fighting an illness or disease that is making you tired at the moment. If doctors have diagnosed you with something, don’t let that diagnosis hang over you. Instead, use it to research what you can do to get healthy. You can also use that diagnosis to pray specifically.

Start by claiming Acts 3:16 and Philippians 2:10. These verses say that faith in Jesus’s name makes us strong and heals us, and that everything bows to Jesus’s name.

Say, “The name of Jesus is greater than sickness. Everything, including every virus and disease, bows to that name. So sickness and fatigue, you need to leave my body. I’m claiming health, wholeness, strength and energy in Jesus’s name!”

Begin to declare the truth of what you’re promised in God’s Word and you’ll begin to alter your expectations. It’s about changing what you believe in your heart, which is absolutely vital because what you believe in your heart is shaping your future.

Keep claiming God’s Word and start expecting God’s best. Then you’ll begin to experience it!
