Don’t Forget About Grace!

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)

When you’re going through tough times, remember this: you can overcome anything life throws your way through a confident belief in what God has promised you.

To walk in faith, we need to understand grace. When we do, we begin to understand that we have all we could ever need inside of us! If you’ve given your life to Christ, God’s grace is yours. It’s not something you need to earn. Grace is God’s mercy and favour in your life, but it’s also the power and ability He provides you. It’s His full provision for every part of your life, including His blessings in your life and the amazing strength and overcoming power you now have in you because of your decision to follow Jesus.

If we live our Christian lives forgetting about God’s grace and the empowerment He has provided us, we’re going to struggle. Even though this grace is ours, we only benefit from it through awareness. We need to remind ourselves that we can choose to look to His strength and power in us for help. In fact, we need to if we want to become all that God says we can be.

Today, let’s claim this together. “Thank you, Father, that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Help me to remember that I never have to face the challenges of life alone. Your grace provides me with your miraculous, life-transforming power, and it’s within me, always available to help me walk through every situation!”
