Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 (NKJV)  As we continue this series of powerful prayers for mothers, my hope is that you will start to declare these promises over yourself daily. And even if you aren’t a parent, these prayers are for any believer. The third declaration to speak over yourself every day is: “Peace and joy are powerful forces in my life.”  Few people are truly living in a state of peace and joy. Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the [soaring] eagle. Psalm 103:5 (AMP)  The second promise to declare over yourself daily is: “My youth and energy are renewed by God’s presence.” Many moms struggle with having enough energy. Between looking after their kids, marriage and, for many, a career as well, they are exhausted.  But today’s verse paints a picture of renewal. It compares us to eagles, who regularly go through a moulting process of replacing their old feathers with new ones. Second Corinthians 4:16 also encourages us not to lose heart, because our inner self is being renewed day by day.  Some of my peers have already decided they’re old and tired.
