For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:14 (NKJV) As a believer, you are a son or daughter of God. This is an incredible revelation, with so many layers to discover. God is your Father and you are loved no matter what. Nothing you ever do will cause Him to love you less. Does this reality cause you to be in awe of God? In Isaiah 6, Isaiah received a vision from God: “I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two …
JUST BELIEVE…IN HIS FAVOUR
Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you.” Matthew 9:29 (NIV) When people are going through a struggle in their lives, they often say that they’re fighting the devil. But is this really effective? I’m not saying that you should ignore the devil’s tactics. Ephesians 6:11 teaches us to put on all of God’s armour so that we can stand firm against all of Satan’s strategies. However, there’s a big difference between being focused on God’s armour—learning key truths from God’s Word so you can walk in all you’ve been empowered to be—and being focused on fighting the devil. Efesios 6:11 nos enseña a vestirnos de toda la armadura de Dios para que podamos pararnos firmes en contra de todas las estrategias de Satanás. So…if you already have God’s favour on your life and there’s nothing you can do to earn it, why does our verse today say that you need to grow in favour? What this verse is really saying is that you can grow in your experience of God’s favour. Growing in favour doesn’t mean you get more power, ability or provision from God.
