Can You Imagine?

Leon FontaineDevoted

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 16:19

“Can you imagine if…” is such a great way to start a sentence! It leads to all kinds of possibility thinking.
Without possibility thinking, life can make you feel trapped—like you are just a pawn in the chess game of life. You can begin to feel as though nothing you do matters, and that everything is out of your control, but it’s not true.
Your life has not been predetermined for you. Never fall for the lie that you are destined to be poor, sick, depressed or unhappy. That is not God’s plan for your life.
God does have plans for you, but they’re all good! And you are not locked into any of them anyhow. The keys to your future don’t belong to God, because Jesus has given them to you. They don’t belong to the devil, your spouse, your parents, your boss, the government, or to anyone else either. Your future is not limited by your past, your language, the color of your skin, where you live, or the people who have wronged you.
It’s time to engage in some possibility thinking. Can you imagine if you overcame that problem that seems to be impossible to solve? Because with God, all things are possible! (See Matthew 19:26.)

Can you imagine if you received that answer you’ve been praying for? Because when you’re a believer and you ask for one of God’s promises, the answer is always “Yes!” You can say “Amen” to that! (See 2 Corinthians 1:20.)
God’s promises are yours, and you can start imagining them coming to pass in your life.
