God will never fail you. Even when everything seems to be going wrong, He can guide you to something new or resurrect what seems to have failed. He is always there to guide and lead you.
When you follow Jesus, you “lack nothing.” He makes you “lie down in green pastures,” and leads you “beside quiet waters.” He refreshes your soul. (See Psalm 23:1-3.) He leads you into His blessings, guiding you “along the right paths for his name’s sake” (v. 3).
Even when you’re walking through a dark time, you don’t need to fear anything, because He is with you. His rod (that corrects your course when you get off track) and staff (that guides you in the ways to go) comfort you (v. 4).
As a believer, you have His Holy Spirit not just upon you, as they did in Old Testament times, but He is IN you. Your life overflows with His blessings (v. 5)! His goodness and love aren’t something you have to chase down. They will follow you all the days of your life, and you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever (v. 6).
Everything won’t be perfect on this planet, but no matter what happens, God will never leave you. He wants to help you live an incredible life. He wants you to dream the dreams you’ve been afraid to dream, and begin to expect the best in life. He loves you more than you’ll ever know!
