For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23 (NKJV)
To know how to walk in the miraculous, look at how Jesus lived. He provided a perfect example of what a human being can do when connected to Holy Spirit.
Jesus shared in Mark 11 that if you believe a problem will go without doubting in your heart, it will go. The belief in God’s promise trumps any doubt. He also said, Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. (v. 24, NKJV).
Jesus experienced miracles by believing they were already done.
When Lazarus had been dead four days, Jesus instructed the stone to be removed from his tomb and prayed, Father, I’m grateful that you have listened to me. I know you always do listen, but on account of this crowd standing here I’ve spoken so that they might believe that you sent me (John 11: 41–42, MSG). How did Jesus know that God had listened to His request to raise Lazarus from the dead? Lazarus was still dead, lying in a tomb! Yet Jesus thanked God before He received His answer.
Jesus demonstrated how God originally designed us. It’s not mind over matter or new age meditation. The Word has been designed to function in conjunction with Holy Spirit, who helps you to meditate and incubate the miraculous into your life.
What are you tired of in your life? Don’t worry about trying to picture how it will happen. A miracle doesn’t come about because we determine all of the steps involved. It happens when we believe it is already done!
