Anti-Christ Doctrine

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.  Philippians 2:5–7 (KJV)

In 1 John 4:3, the Bible warns us about an anti-Christ doctrine.
It says, “Every spirit that does
not confess that Jesus Christ
has come in the flesh is not of
God. And this is the spirit of
the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world” (NKJV).

When I first read this verse, I wondered why denying that Jesus came in the flesh was such a huge issue. But when you think about it, if you don’t believe that key truth, you’ll never walk in the authority, power and ability Jesus made available to you as a believer.

When we think of Jesus when he walked the planet, we often think of him as God’s Son, and he was. But the Bible also says that he limited himself by becoming human.

This is why John 14:12 says that you as a believer will do the works that Jesus did and even greater. The revelation contained in that one verse is absolutely incredible!

It’s time you see that Jesus walked the planet as a Spirit-filled human being, just as you do. He learned to grow in favour with God and man, he studied the Word, and he became baptized in Holy Spirit, just as you can. And he did incredible things…just as you can do with Holy Spirit inside you!
