Always and Forever Loved

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)

God’s pure, unconditional love for us isn’t always easy to understand. It’s hard to imagine that He can love us so completely, without strings attached. But knowing this love is vital. In fact, it’s life-changing.

The more you learn about God’s love for you, the easier it is to have hope that the future will be bright. In other words, it’s easier to have faith. Think about it. If you know God loves you, you realize He wants the best for you. You stop questioning whether or not God wants you to experience His promises. You stop wondering if you deserve His help.

Instead, you begin to see Him as a loving Father God who wants to empower you to grow and to do well in every area of your life.

Do you know how much He loves you?

Take some time right now to think about today’s scripture. God’s love for you is forever, and it isn’t contingent on your behaviour.

Nothing could ever separate you from God’s love for you—nothing you’ve ever said, nothing you’ve done in the past, nothing you’ll do in the future, and nothing anyone else has said or done.

Satan can’t separate you from God’s love either, although he will employ all sorts of tactics to try to convince you that you’re not loved by God. But the truth is simple. God loves you, and He always will.
