Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 7:2–3 (NIV)
What do you want to see happen with the rest of this year?
What do you want in your personal life, with your family, your marriage, and your health? What about at work and in ministry?
You need to envision where you want to go. Because when it comes to God’s promises, faith is seeing the end from the beginning. Then you need to start acting on what you see. This combination of believing and acting ushers in the miraculous.
Think about what God’s Word says. His favour is yours. Everything you put your hand to prospers. Every mouth that rises up against you is put down. Enemies may come against you one way but they’ll flee seven ways. You can ride upon the high places of the earth. The blessings of the Lord come from the north, south, east and west!
Claim these promises over your life, but realize that they are not some sort of an incantation you chant to make God do something or to make the devil back off. By claiming these promises, you are persuading your heart. Since God has already given you everything that pertains to life and godliness, you just need to get your heart established in the Word. Then your heart will begin to line things up so you can access those promises in your life.
Holy Spirit wants to guide you into all truth through his Word. He wants you to dream about his promises. Work this process of believing and you’ll be stunned at the abundance God has already prepared for you.
