Bind and Let Loose

Leon FontaineDevoted

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 18:18 (NIV)

I don’t know how people make it without the Word of God.

I need my meditation time in God’s Word, and I need it regularly. I just can’t do what I do without it. With all the decisions I need to make and problems I need to sort through, I need to constantly remind myself of who God says I am and what he says I can do.

You’re no different. You need to know who you are and what belongs to you in Christ. You need to remember whose report to believe. Not the doctor’s, the financial analyst’s or the experts you hear on the news. Believe the creator of the universe and trust in what he has to say!

Don’t let people convince you of anything different or circumstances to hold you back. You are precious to God. You think you’re asking too much? No! You’re not asking enough! He wants more for you than what you’re asking!

God wants to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you can ask or think or imagine (Ephesians 3:20–21), so what are you getting worried about? He’s given you the authority to bind whatever does not exist in heaven and loose whatever you can find in heaven!

Let’s claim that together today: “Father, thank you for giving me the authority to bind and set loose. Right now I bind (sickness, fear, poverty, depression, anxiety, hopelessness, loneliness, pleasures of sin) from my life. I set the opposite loose: (health, peace, prosperity, hope, joy, great relationships and a passion for serving God)!”
