Look For Truth And You Will Find It

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7–8 (NLT)

All throughout history, scientists and historians have attempted to disprove the Bible—without success. To this day Jesus remains one of the most proven figures in history.

Some readily admit that He existed, but they make up things that are found nowhere in the Bible. For example, one popular book said that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married. It even tried to disprove the fact that Jesus is divine, but there are absolutely no historical or biblical backings to any of these claims.

If all of this talk about Jesus has put questions in your mind, I urge you to find clarity for yourself. Discover who Jesus is and why He matters.

Examine the evidence and make your own decision about Christ. Don’t just take at face value what everyone else says. Seek answers for yourself. Read the Bible and others’ stories of faith. Find a life-giving church and attend regularly. There’s something about being in a room full of passionate believers praising and worshipping Jesus that leads to clarity. Also, ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you and then keep your heart open to discovering Him. If you’re looking for the truth, you will find it.

Whether you are sold out for or you still have doubts about Jesus, I challenge you to learn more about Him. As you learn to know Him, your belief and trust in Him will grow and so will your love for Him and your passion for life.
