Meditation is much like daydreaming. Children have no trouble with daydreams. Adults often discard this habit because we think it is a waste of time but it is an absolute key to life. Your heart wants to hang on to something.
If you don’t choose your focus intentionally, fear will take over. If you choose to dream of God’s promises, you will experience amazing results.
When people get disappointed, they tend to try to avoid more disappointment. They stop dreaming because they’ve tried previously and nothing has happened. I want to encourage you today. Never stop hoping! God works with your daydream!
Deuteronomy 28 says that God’s blessings will overtake you. Because of your relationship with Jesus, God’s blessings chase you down. Do you daydream about this?
If you’re in debt, picture yourself smiling as the banker says “You’re debt free!” If you struggle to make ends meet, picture yourself laughing with a bank statement in hand showing hundreds of dollars left at the end of the month. If you need healing, read today’s verse, Romans 8:11, and notice how it says the healing will come. It doesn’t say it comes from heaven but from His Spirit IN YOU. Because Holy Spirit lives in you, your body is healing from the inside out!
Get into the habit of daydreaming about health, prosperity and all of God’s promises chasing you down!
