But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8 (NLT)
God wants you to use the skills He has given you and the success you have achieved in life to influence others for Jesus. Even if you do not believe that you influence others, your impact can be huge. You may not feel like you were born to lead but you can be an example of Jesus’ love. You can share your story. Even though you may never know the full impact of your choices, they have great significance in the light of eternity.
A purpose to serve Jesus is a purpose like no other.
He does not promise you a pain-free life without its share of struggles but you have access to love that fills you until you overflow, peace beyond what you can imagine, joy that goes beyond words and a faithful and steady companion called Holy Spirit to guide and comfort you for your entire life. When you move your focus to Jesus’ number one goal life becomes awesome!
Do not let comfort or success cost you your destiny.
God wants you to experience abundant joy and happiness but your comfort is not His number one goal. If you feel empty for no apparent reason, it may be a signal. Tap in to your true purpose: populating heaven!
