You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 (NKJV)
Over the past couple of days, we’ve been talking about how important it is to know that you are a new creation. It’s a key to having faith and walking in your authority in Christ.
You need to remind yourself daily that you’re a child in God’s family. You’re a son or daughter of the King and you’re destined to do awesome things for God!
Believe in who God says you are. Only then will your faith kick into gear because faith works by love. Faith does not work by fear; it doesn’t work by a negative force. The key to faith is to rest in peace. You need to know that you’re a child of God and He has given you the power to change and grow.
Then, start doing something different. Faith without works is dead. Don’t just wait for God to change things for you. Rise up and act. If you’re not sure where to begin, just make a move. Get your life going for God and watch what He does on the inside of you.
God has already given you the power to change. He has already made you one of His children. You are more than a conqueror. If there are things in your life you aren’t happy with yet, change them! Keep going!
It may be a process, but you are an overcoming child of God. When you begin to believe it and rest in that fact, knowing you are loved by God, His power begins to go to work in your life.
