Make A Decision

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5 (ESV)

Satan’s infamous for stealing, killing and destroying, but the way he does it may be a lot more subtle than we realize.

If Satan can keep us living safe, comfortable lives, it still feeds his goal. If he can get us to believe that we’re lacking something or don’t quite measure up, we’ll tend to stay small and defeated, limiting our ability to impact the people around us.

We may not even realize we’ve swallowed the lie that we’re not enough. Instead of reaching out and growing, we may hold back, thinking, “I’m not spiritual enough to get up and share my faith,” or, “What good will my prayer do anyway?”

But change starts at the end of your comfort zone.

So, how do you live fully, the way God intended? Change starts as you decide to align your beliefs with what God’s Word says. You see, your beliefs lead your emotions. If you react with hurt or anger, there’s a belief at the root of that reaction. In turn, those emotions govern your actions, which then confirm the misbelief that you’re not enough. It’s a vicious cycle.

Beliefs that are rooted in “I’m not enough” thinking create a cycle that continually keeps you down and discouraged.

If you want to break free and really live, make the decision to believe what God says about you, not the enemy’s lies. Here’s the truth: God has already made you complete in Him through Christ! You don’t have to wait on Him to change you. You already have all you need. In Christ, you are enough!
