Strength In Difficult Times

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 2 Peter 1:2 (NKJV)

We’ve all been through difficult times—times where no matter how hard we tried, nothing seemed to change. As frustrating and painful as these times can be, one thing is for sure. As believers, we are never alone. In times like this, God promises that we can rely on His grace.

God’s grace—his power, ability and favour—is yours, empowering and enabling you in your everyday life. And just by increasing your awareness of it, you can begin to expect and then receive amazing opportunities and blessings from God every day.

To walk in God’s grace, you have to believe!

It’s not that you need to earn this grace. As a believer, God’s grace—His power, ability and full provision for your life—are yours. Jesus earned it for you, but grace is multiplied in your life as you grow in your knowledge of Jesus and what He has done for you. Hebrews 13:9 calls this having a heart that is established by grace.

As you gain confidence in the fact that you have God’s favour, power and ability because of Jesus, you multiply the extent to which you experience that grace in your life. You have access to a greater power than you can imagine.

Grace doesn’t eliminate all frustrations and difficulties. You still need to work hard, problem solve, study God’s Word and grow in wisdom, but grace is your solid foundation. It’s your secret weapon; it enables you to have peace, joy and wisdom, even in the most difficult situations.
