Have you ever had a Bible story or teaching pop into your mind when you were at a low point and were searching for answers? Or maybe you had a thought that gave you the courage and strength to rise up and get through the storm. The power of God’s Word is incredible.
Another way that God speaks to us is by placing trustworthy people in our lives just when we need them the most.
If you’re going through something or you’re struggling to reach that next level and you aren’t sure what to do, take a look at the people around you. Are there lessons you can learn from them or through their experiences?
Often we hesitate to share our struggles because we don’t want others to find out that we’re not perfect. I’m not saying it’s wise to pour out all your problems to everyone you meet. Just pray and ask God give you wisdom and to lead you to someone who can help you with the insight they’ve gained in their journey.
You might find out that someone in your life is an expert in the very area you are struggling with, or you might discover that they struggled with something very similar and have great advice to share about how they made it through.
All around you are people you can learn from. By listening to their stories and asking key questions, you can benefit from the people God has placed in your life to help you reach higher than you’ve ever reached before.
