No one else can establish your heart beliefs for you. Not even God.
Continue to pray, but in order to experience God’s promises, you also need to grow the right beliefs in your heart. You see, your heart influences your life to a far greater degree than willpower, knowledge or good intentions. But you can take back the controls of your life.
I’m not saying that you are responsible for everything that goes on in your life, but your heart beliefs have a huge impact on how you experience life. You see, your future is established in the foundations of your heart.
Some people think God waits for you to get your faith right before granting miracles. But 2 Peter 1:3 says we’ve been given all things. If God has already given it to us, why would we need to earn it? Why disqualify yourself when He wants you to have this inheritance? Why beg and plead with God for what is already ours? That’s as silly as begging Him to give you two ears when they’re already on either side of your head!
You may be thinking, Well, if I already have everything, why don’t I see it in my life? Peter goes on to say that the way you manifest the things you’ve been given is through God’s great and precious promises (2 Peter 1:4). You see, as you load these promises into your amazing dream producer— the heart—things start to change.
God isn’t holding back His promises. Develop confident beliefs in your heart regarding His promises and you will establish your future.
